This sweet little guy's name is Palmer. (Care to guess the inspiration for the name?!?) His mom and dad are so in love with him and it's easy to see why...just look how handsome he is!

Gorgeous Julia...

She was such a little love!  She was welcomed to the world by two older brothers, so while she might be teeny and sweet right now, my bet is she's going to be one rough-and-tumble little girl when all is said and done!

Sleepy little Matthew...

Matthew was such a good little sleeper, but I'm so glad he woke up for some great "awake" shots, too!

and just like that, she's one!

I first met this little girl at three months and, even then, she had a gleam in her eye that let me know she was going to be spunky! Now, here she is, one year old, walking everywhere FAST  and keeping everyone on their toes!

Here come the babies!

I have soooo many newborns coming in over the next few weeks! This little guy was just a week old. He had so many great expressions for such a brand-new baby!

There must have been some kind of shift in the collective consciousness of women in the Baltimore area, because it seems like suddenly, every pregnant woman is eager to have belly portraits made!  I love it! I love how women feel so good about being pregnant and the little life growing inside them that they want to celebrate and cherish it with photography. Even Time magazine is taking notice TIME ARTICLE .

I don't show many of the maternity images I photograph, simply because of privacy concerns...but I can share a few anonymous ""headless" ones here...

If you are considering a maternity portraits session, the best time is usually around 34-35 weeks, before there is too much swelling and discomfort, but after the belly is nice and round!

Funny Little Thomas...

This baby rocks! He is seven months old and I can't tell you how much fun he was! Every time we put him on his tummy, he started rolling all over the place! The half-done overall shot was dad's idea...something about a Missouri thing?!?!?! I think it's hysterical!

Lots of babies coming!

I have been photographing LOTS of  pregnant moms lately, so that means I will be having LOTS of wee babies in the next few weeks!

Here is little Gabby, just the tiniest little thing and soooo sweet! She was just five days old when I photographed her.

Claire came to me for photographs in her Easter best. What a little lady she is all dressed up!
